Den var f\u00f6rbjuden i Frankrike eftersom den misst\u00e4nktes kunna orsaka spet\u00e4lska! Vilket visar att v\u00e5r ber\u00f6mda franska f\u00f6rsiktighetsprincip har varit i kraft under en mycket l\u00e5ng tid&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Efter att tvivlen snabbt skingrats h\u00e5ller potatisen gradvis p\u00e5 att bli den dominerande f\u00f6dan p\u00e5 v\u00e5ra tallrikar, tack vare sitt rika n\u00e4ringsinneh\u00e5ll och att den \u00e4r l\u00e4tt att odla.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Den l\u00f6ste ett av tidens stora problem genom att drastiskt minska risken f\u00f6r hungersn\u00f6d om sk\u00f6rden skulle sl\u00e5 fel. Termen &#8221;mikroalger&#8221; anv\u00e4ndes f\u00f6r f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen av spanska historiker som beskrev aztekernas sk\u00f6rd av spirulina i Texcocosj\u00f6n. De konsumerade den tydligen i form av en pastaaktig kaka.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Termen &#8221;alger&#8221; beskriver en mycket stor grupp organismer som delar vissa egenskaper, t.ex. fotosyntesen, f\u00f6rm\u00e5gan att omvandla solenergi till kemisk energi. De v\u00e4xer i vatten och har inga r\u00f6tter.<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> Mikroalger \u00e4r d\u00e4rf\u00f6r mikroskopiska alger som utg\u00f6r det ber\u00f6mda fytoplanktonet.
